Welcome to the View-Finder website. Here you will find Artistic Photographic Images - Unique Interpretations of scenes to offer Mood and Atmosphere.
Many of these pictures are Unique one-offs or Limited Editions.
Time has been taken to reflect an emotion and a feeling of the subject, which keeps the viewer constantly engaged, always questioning and re-interpreting.
This often extends to the choice of natural materials, hand-finished, to frame and display many of the images in such a unique way that they become as one total work of art.
For more information and to Purchase, please visit Art Photo, Alte Lauenenstrasse Gstaad.

‘I am inspired by light, its differing qualities and intensities, particularly when it combines with nature to create truly special emotions - the early morning light touching the curve of a hill, the sun’s rays bursting through the trees to cast long shadows, the hope of spring, or the dark beauty of a snowstorm; the soft line of warm light upon a person’s cheek or body, a portrait’s mysterious expression; and aspects of a familiar place now seen from a different perspective. It is these feelings that I try to capture to make images with real atmosphere and emotion as opposed to just reproducing a pretty scene.
I hope you enjoy my images.’ Ian Wilson
